Hello! My name is Chelsea Cotton and I am your child's fourth grade teacher this year! This is my fifth year teaching fourth grade at MES. Every year I learn more and more from my students and can't wait to see what this year brings!
I celebrated my first wedding anniversary this summer and my husband and I welcomed our first baby girl, Addison, to our family on July 9th. We have had a very busy but exciting summer!
I went to Northern Illinois University where I studied elementary education. I received endorsements in language arts, social studies and math. I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Principal Preparation at the University of St. Francis in Joliet. I have learned so much through both of my college careers and look forward to implementing new ideas in the classroom.
I love to spend time with family and friends and attend sporting events. I have four cats who my students come to know and love throughout the school year.
I am so excited to have your child in my class this year and can't wait to watch them grown and learn more each day.
